Winchester First in Christmas Parade

The Kiwanis Club of Winchester partnered with Emma and Susan Mittmesser along with Ann Stencil to plan, design and decorate the Kiwanis float . They also collaborated with Clark County students to create the paper ornaments and snowflakes used on the float and tree to stay with the parade theme of "Say it With Heart."

It was a fun day of fellowship and keeping the opportunities to market our club and maintain our place in the community has been greatly magnified this year with our completed projects. A special thanks to the children and grandchildren loaned to us to ride the float and hand out candy canes.

With the partnership of many we also appreciate Thom Schoolmaster for pulling the project together so quickly for us along with Allison Roberts, Cindy Banks, Ed Buckner, Pat & Russ Morrison, Coos Ockers, and Kirby Roberts.

This cooperative effort resulted in our float being awarded first place in the parade.
